Gratitude.

Progress not perfection is choosing to go to work today instead of staying curled up in a ball under layers of blankets in bed. It’s being grateful I have a job to go to and a body and mind healthy enough (who knows how) to carry me there. It’s setting aside my own inexplicable sadness to help others navigate out of their (often much more rational, reality-based) depression and desperation. It’s recognizing that my life is good today, despite all I’ve done to try and sabotage it.
